Japanese Film Festival

Dear Japanese Language teachers


How are you? I would like to share the excellent news with your students! The Australian Japanese Association of the Northern Territory (AJANT), with support from The Japan Foundation, Sydney, Event Cinema Palmerston and the Department of Education, is offering a special school screening of “Children of the Sea” at the Japanese Film Festival (JFF) Satellite in Darwin 2021.


Date: Friday 22 October 2021 (Term 4 Week 2)

Time: 9:30 am – 12:00 pm

Venue: Event Cinema Palmerston (Gateway Shopping Centre)

Cost: Free

Application: C.O.B. Friday 17 September 2021 via Online Form https://forms.gle/8e8nev4M4ykGJoag9(Please note that places are limited for this screening and will be filled on a first-in basis.)


Please see more details in the attached information sheet. This is not only for the schools offering the Japanese language course but any schools if they are interested in. Please feel free to circulate the information.


Due to the COVID-19 Safety regulation, please provide full name and contact details of coordinating teacher. If your school is unable to attend the event or changing the number of booking for any unforeseen reasons after the booking, including the onset of any COVID-19 related symptoms such as cough, sore throat, fever, etc. please let us know as soon as possible by sending an email to booking.ajant@gmail.com
